Heating Steps
- Heat oil in a pot and add onion, and fry at lower temperature for several minutes.
- Boil barley and lentils according to instructions on package.
- Add your vegetable stock to the pot and simmer until all vegetables are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Finishing Touches
- Use a blender to purée your soup to the desired consistency.
- Add your barley and lentils to the soup and mix.
