Save some water when draining your pasta and add it to your sauce, it will help thicken it up.

Sauce
Finely chop your garlic and parsley.
Mix garlic, parsley and tomato paste together in a bowl with salt and pepper, then pour on top of your vegetables as they are cooking. Remove from heat once sauce has slightly thickened.
