You are a natural, you just do not know it yet!Ida Marie Banke13. February 2017
Even if it might be hard to believe, all of us do actually have the intuition of cooking and if we choose the right attitude, we can with time get used to it and develop a sense of cooking that can be compared to the logic of language. If you learn 1) the grammar and 2) some words of a language, you will be able to construct sentences and engage in conversations.
“I’m not good at cooking” is quite a common statement, but what most people don’t know is that the ability to cook is built into our genes – just like our ability to communicate with language.
Our sense of taste evolved to help us know what to eat – and what to avoid. That means that actually everyone has a cook’s intuition, it might just be a bit rusty if you’re not used to cooking. But what if we are too impatient to ‘getting used to cooking’? What if we don’t want to cope with the ‘with time’ condition?
Well, we know that learning a language is easier said than done. The words of cooking already exist in the ingredients. With Plant Jammer, we want to build the grammar and define the logic of cooking.
That means that the only thing we will be asking from you is a playful and open attitude. We might learn a lot from Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi (the girl with red braids on the picture above) who once said: “I’ve never tried that before, so I’m sure I can do that!“
